Infrastrukture, Culture and Education
The department Infrastructure, Culture and Education
The department of Infrastructure, Culture and Education (ICE) includes a lot of topics:
This department manages the infrastructure, that the StuVe is in charge of. That includes all the rooms, study spaces and technical equipment.
The expansion of study rooms, the care and management of rooms, the rent and maintenence of technical equipment and the security of our technical devices are all important priorities in this department.
In order that all students have a nice place to study, that is calm, cozy and clean, we permanently maintain and expand the study spaces.
To organise an uni-party, there is a lot to keep track of and a lot of material needed. This department keeps the overview and coordinates the uni-partys. This includes the management of the needed materials.
Besides the uni-partys the department organises a lot of other events, for entertaintment and education. Main focus is the connenction between students, to offer them a nice live besides the lectures at the university.
The head of department
My name is Johannes Schiedle and I’m studying for a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Since February 2025 I’m responsible for the department ICE in the Executive Committee (StEx).
A large part of my tasks are events. I’m involved in almost all StuVe events and accompany, for example, students at the organization of a university party. In particular I’m responsible for security and arrangements with the university. I’m also the contact for all matters concerning our offices and learning areas. This primarily involves fire protection and operational safety, but also negotiations with the university. In addition, I’m in charge of the Audio & Light-, FUESE-, International-, Bicycle-, E-Sports-, Openness to the World- und Camppuccinounit.
If you have any questions or ideas in these areas, feel free to contact me. This semester, I am offering consultation hours in the StEx office (N26/316) every Thursday from 4 pm. - 6 pm.
You can reach me any time by e-mail or in my consultation hours!
