The Department
A lot of people are involved in every process and event within StuVe, hence we deal with a significant amount of personal data. Whether it’s consent to publish photos or storing job applications - proper handling of personal data is essential.
Within my department, I ensure that data collection and processing are carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This ensures that your data is handled properly. Please feel free to contact me with any legal questions as well!
The Head of Department
My name is Janik Axmann and I am a medical student. Since February 2026, I have been in charge of the Department for Data Protection & Legal Matters.
Since security and justice are very important to me and are fundamental to many processes within StuVe, I would like to address these issues within my department.
The tasks involved are based, among other things, on the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). There is a lot to consider here - it starts with consent for data collection and ends with the proper deletion of data. Fundamental principles such as purpose limitation, data minimization, and the requirement for transparency are of great importance.
I attach great value to ensuring that personal data is protected at all times and, in doing so, aim to continue fostering a safe and positive atmosphere within StuVe.
